Workplace stress: Over 45 per cent of employees experience anxiety every Sunday evening

A recent survey found that more than 45% of employees feel anxious and upset. According to a report by workforce solutions and HR services provider Genius, nearly 80% of participants said their organization could do more to address mental health and wellness issues. Health Consulting, news agency PTI reports. The survey was conducted from August 5 to September 2, 2024, and more than 1,700 employees participated. Furthermore, 78% of respondents said they had a harsh work environment, characterized by peer pressure and behavioral expectations from management and colleagues. More than 65% of employees emphasize that they are overwhelmed by their current work structure. They say work-life balance is being severely disrupted.
