The researchers found that two years ago a stroke, the score of participants with stroke increased by an average of 0.33 points. Six years ago the stroke, the score of those who had a stroke was almost like people who were not strokes.
This clearly shows that the appearance of depression symptoms has increased 2 years before the stroke occurs, which creates a link between two health conditions.
After the stroke, the symptoms of depression increased and at a height of 10 years later.
Those who never have a stroke, have consistency in their scores throughout the study.
